Statement of Need

Practicing anesthesiologists, anesthesiology residents, and practicing CRNAs require a thorough periodic review of our specialty's core information. Dannemiller has organized such a review of this body of information by drawing on the opinions of expert anesthesiology educators, as well as feedback from anesthesia professionals and participants at previous Dannemiller programs. Based on this information, this course has been designed to provide an in-depth, state-of-the-art review of the practice of anesthesia. It is intended to meet the needs of those preparing for certification or re-certification examinations, and/or practitioners who desire a comprehensive review of our discipline's core body of information.

Method of Participation

This program consists of lectures, enhanced by slide presentations, daily question and answer periods with ARS, and a complete electronic syllabus. The course sessions will provide a complete review and study of current anesthesia practices.

Intended Audience

This educational program is intended for residents in anesthesiology, practicing anesthesiologists, CRNAs in training or practice, and other anesthesia care professionals interested in a thorough review and update in the practice of anesthesiology.

Physicians

Dannemiller designates this educational activity for a maximum of 46.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
